Dream Servers LTD acquires Relentless Servers

Dear Customer,

Today brings great news for Relentless Servers. Relentless Servers has been acquired by Dream Servers LTD - and over the next few weeks you will begin to see the benefits. The following points detail how the transfer is going to take place and how it will affect you:

The Relentless Servers website will be rebranded to "Dream Servers" over the next few days.
A short period after this (approximatly 1 week), our servers will be moved from there current location in BlueSquare datacentre to Telecity in central London. This location is closer to the internet backbone and will provide improved pings and connectivity. It also gives the company a huge chance to expand, offering more competitive prices and a wider range of services. During this time there will be a downtime of Teamspeak and gameserver services. We aim for this move to be complete within 1 day. Please note that this will mean the IP address of your gameserver/Teamspeak voice server will change - which is an unfortunate price to pay to allow you to reap the benefits of this transfer.
All ventrilo services will remain in the same location with no interruption.
Webhosting services will also be moved - with a short period of downtime.

The transfer process will occur in 3 seperate stages.

Stage 1

This weekend, the Relentless Servers website will be rebranded to the Dream Servers LTD name. The new URL will be http://www.dreamservers.uk.com. However the current address will redirect to the new website. There will be no downtime of the website during this stage as transition will happen almost instantly. Your billing account will remain intact. All payments from this point onwards will be directed towards the PayPal account of Dream Server LTD. If you have a paypal subscription and your service is next due on or after 19/09/09 (i.e. you selected paypal subscription when you ordered and not the "pay now" button) you should cancel this in your Paypal account and recreate it on the due date so the funds are transferred to Dream Servers.

Stage 2

The weekend after, all current webhosting clients will be transferred. This transistion is planned to have no downtime. Arrangements will be made to ensure that you can still access your website from the relentless-servers.co.uk subdomain. However, this is subject to DNS propogation periods and we reccommend you access your website via the dreamservers.uk.com domain. If you have a domain parked on our webhosting services - the name servers will need to be updated with the domain registrar. These will be emailed to you on the day of transition. We do not expect to lose any data during this process, but if you have critical files on the webhosting we recommend you back them up for extra safety.

Stage 3

On 01/10/09, the servers will be moved to the new location in Telecity, London. This will affect our gameserver and Teamspeak services (Ventrilo will not be affected). Your game files will remain intact but your IP will change. Details of the new IP address will be sent to you. We expect this transfer to be completed on the same day. There will be downtime between the servers being taken offline to when they are installed at the new data center.

This is a brilliant chance for Relentless Servers to be become something that I myself didn't have the investment to make it happen. I will miss helping you guys out and I know that some of you will miss me too - but don't worry, I am not going to vanish into an abyss and will continue being available on msn at whowner@hotmail.com and on steam friends ("adamscybot"). I have no formal arrangement to continue support at Dream Servers, but I do intend to stick around and you should still be able to get in touch with me if you need some tips regarding your server.

I took much consideration over this decision and after weighing up the pros and cons it was very clear that this was the right thing to do to provide improved services to the people that made Relentless Servers what it is, you. You are in more than safe hands with James (Dream Server LTD owner) and I am confident he will take the business to the next level.
